1. Bookings and confirmation

A booking request submitted on our website is not confirmed until a HydroRush team member confirms availability with you by WhatsApp, phone or email. You will receive a booking reference (for example HR-1A2B3C4D) when your request is received. We recommend booking at least 48 hours ahead.

2. Pricing and payment

• All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
• Speedboat: R350 per person for 30 minutes, R450 per person for 1 hour.
• Speedboat group (up to 6 people): R1 800 for 30 minutes, R2 500 for 1 hour.
• Jetski: R950 for 30 minutes.
• Party boat (up to 40 people): R600 per person for 2 hours, buffet included.
• Payment is due before departure unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Capacity limits

Speedboat trips carry a maximum of 6 guests. The party boat carries a maximum of 40 guests. These limits are set for safety and cannot be exceeded, even by request.

4. Arrival and duration

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your slot for the safety briefing and waiver check. Trip time starts at your scheduled slot. Late arrivals may have their time shortened so that following guests are not delayed.

5. Skipper authority, safety and weather

• All trips are operated by a qualified HydroRush skipper. Guests may not operate the vessel unless expressly permitted and supervised.
• Life jackets must be worn at all times on the water.
• The skipper may shorten, delay, reroute or cancel a trip for safety, weather, water level or authority instructions. Safety decisions are final.
• We operate in line with South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA) requirements.

6. Conduct, alcohol and food

Alcohol and food are available on site. Guests who are visibly intoxicated, aggressive or unsafe may be refused boarding or returned to shore without a refund. Littering into the dam, unsafe behaviour and interfering with equipment are not permitted.

7. Minors

Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must sign the waiver on their behalf and remain responsible for them throughout the activity.

8. Liability

Watersports carry inherent risk. Participation is subject to our signed waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, HydroRush is not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from participation, except where caused by our gross negligence. Personal belongings are brought on board at your own risk.

9. Cancellations

Cancellations, reschedules and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your booking applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
