Assumption of Risk. I understand that participation in speedboat rides, jetski activities, party boat cruises and other watersports at Hartbeespoort Dam involves inherent risks including but not limited to drowning, collision, capsizing, weather changes, mechanical failure, personal injury, and loss or damage to property.
Release of Liability. In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive and discharge HydroRush, its owners, employees, skippers, agents and affiliates from any and all liability, claims or demands arising out of or connected with my participation, to the fullest extent permitted by South African law.
Compliance. I agree to wear a life jacket at all times on the water, follow all instructions from the skipper/instructor, and comply with South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA) regulations. I confirm I am not under the influence of alcohol or drugs when boarding.
Medical Fitness. I confirm that I (and any minor I represent) am medically fit to participate and have disclosed all relevant medical conditions above. I authorise HydroRush to arrange emergency medical treatment if required, at my own cost.
Minors. If signing on behalf of a minor, I confirm I am the parent or legal guardian and consent to their participation on the same terms.
Media Release (optional). I grant HydroRush permission to use photos or video taken during the activity for marketing purposes on its website and social media, without compensation.
Governing Law. This waiver is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
